Late summer/early autumn is my favourite time of the year as the colours are so rich and the sun gives us the most amazing skies with beautiful golden evening light. That’s why I was delighted when Zoe contacted me for a family photoshoot in Edinburgh. Zoe, Scott, Alice and I met up at the west entrance to the Hermitage of Braid estate and took a walk through the woods. The colours were lovely and little Alice chose her favourite leaf. We then hiked up Blackford Hill (the steep side!) where you get the one of the most amazing views of the city with Arthur’s Seat in the background. I had never been up Blackford Hill before so thanks Zoe & co for showing me a new favourite walking spot. It was so lovely meeting, chatting to and photographing this warm, happy family. Hope to see you again soon!
I love doing family photoshoots of this kind as they are super relaxed and I keep it as discreet as possible so it doesn’t look like we’re doing a magazine cover shoot or anything like that. If you are interested in your own family photoshoot, please contact me for details.
