This beautiful family were so easy to photograph. Melissa, Luke and their girls have so much love and happiness for each other. Also, I am making you guys my friends starting now, haha.

As always, most of these photoshoots involve movement and letting the kids do what they want to do, like eating the local flora (not advised). We then throw in some easy posing at moments when they are happy to do so …and marshmallows, lots of marshmallows!

I met up with Mai, Chris, their two beautiful kids and one of their best friends at Guincho beach (Praia do Guincho) near Cascais during golden hour in January. So dreamy and lots of fun.

Kids like movement and tend not to enjoy taking more than a second or two for posed photos, so we had fun running about and playing with a sprinkling of effortless posing …and maybe some marshmallows!
